ABOUT US
Cookeville Friends Meeting is an unprogrammed Quaker Meeting that welcomes all. "We gather in silence and expectant waiting, without prearranged singing, Bible reading, prayers, or sermon. Our worship proceeds, rising above individual meditation to a sense of seeking as a gathered group, with spoken ministry only as Friends may feel led to share their divinely inspired insights and messages" (Friends World Committee on Consultation).
Worship begins at 10 am on Sundays and last about an hour.
The last Sunday of every month is Meeting with a Concern for Business and a potluck.
Please visit us! We meet in the basement of the Wesley Foundation, 271 E. 9th Street, Cookeville, TN 38501 and on Zoom. Please reach out via email at cookevillequakersinthelight@gmail.com to get the Zoom link.
